I began my full time PhD after completing a Physics Masters at the University of Leicester. My dissertation was on the spatiotemporal variations of pollutants within the city, focussing of differences in nitrogen dioxide levels along different roads and footpaths.
My PhD project, 'Building targeted air quality evidence for local policy in Leicester,' looks at the effectiveness of different air quality interventions in Leicester by comparing air quality data before and after their implementation. I will also seek to understand the reasons people may be against these interventions and use this to help inform public messaging campaigns on the importance of good air quality for public health.
