Connected and sociable places: making the post-digital city (ESRC Postdoctoral Fellowship)

This scholarship explores the impact of media technologies on urban space and social life in the city. Using the case study of Ziferblat this research offers a new approach to place making, investigating the relationships between new mobile technologies and face-to-face social interaction.  Using media analysis and micro-ethnography in a number of case study locations this project examines how the new post-digital city is being produced and consumed.
