David Prior (BA Geography, 2007)

Alumnus David Prior (BA Geography, 2007) along with his wife Stephanie and neighbours from a total of 26 households, ran a Socially Distanced Alternative Marathon on 26 April, the day that should have been the London Marathon.

The idea was born out of support for neighbour Matt Thomas, who was due to run the Marathon in aid of Children with Cancer UK. Each household completed a 1-mile lap, and they have collectively raised more than £6,000 for the charity.

David is a photographer (you might remember him from his incredible work photographing our Alumni Awards Dinners) and made this video of the day.
