Economic History

Module: EC2034

In this module we will travel back to the economic climate after World War 1 and explore the major economic and financial events that have influenced society. You will look back at the contributions that economist's theories have had on contemporary events, and evaluate some current economic theories and data from a historical perspective.

This module will familiarise you with a historical background on the views of different social and economic groups and policy makers. You will be exposed to the changing views of these groups as events unfolded and economic perceptions were evolving, and give you a chance to critically assess contemporary policy responses using economic analysis.
