Introduction to Interpreting

This module will help you to explain different modes of interpreting in different professional settings. We will discuss interpreting as a profession and as an academic discipline as well as produce short intervals of utterances in liaison interpreting. This module is taught through weekly practical classes and workshops where we will practice liaison interpreting and focus on the development of the practice and discipline in interpreting studies.
