Theory of Radiographic Practice

This module forms the basis of radiographic practice including theory of radiographic exposure factors and how these are used and manipulated to produce high quality diagnostic imaging. You will learn the key principles and positions associated with skeletal and respiratory radiography. Reference to medico legal radiographic requirements will also be included to ensure you comply with legislation. This module combines lectures, practical workshops and professional placement to develop radiographic principles and practices of x-ray and computed tomography (CT). You will access the academic X-ray suite in order to enhance your skills before entering clinical placement.
