Digital media have become an essential element of our everyday lives. In this module we will examine the shifts that new media technologies have brought about in our daily routines and offer insights into the ways we interact with new media.

We will identify the key concepts of new media and explore the development of the internet, while also looking at the issues of digital divides, internet regulation and micro- and macro-level effects.
