Professional Enquiry

Module code: ED7102

As part of your Masters, you will undertake a small-scale investigation of professional value to you and your organisation. This will run throughout the academic year.

We will help you to identify a professional challenge of interest and value to your organisation and then guide you through possible research approaches, after which you will decide on an appropriate design for your study. This will involve considering different ways to think about research and methods of data collection and analysis. You will be encouraged to work with others in developing your study and will be allocated a personal tutor to guide the development of your enquiry.

Before collecting your data you will need to gain ethical approval; we will help you develop the necessary documents and procedures to ensure your study is carried out sensitively, fairly and transparently.
