Digital Storytelling
Module code: MS2108
Digital Storytelling has been designed to introduce you to aspects of both narrative and digital production. The central aim of this module is to provide a practical experience of narratives in the context of still imagery, which will give you a deeper critical understanding of the production process, and the concept of narrative.
Using state of the art equipment in the School’s brand new Media Lab, you'll undergo training in photo, audio and video editing to provide you with the skills to understand the practical element of the module. You'll gain an appreciation and understanding of digital creation tools available on the internet, as well as applications designed to share and log their production experience.
In addition to practical work, you're given the opportunity to critically reflect on your own practical digital work and the work of peers, to develop the ability to work both individually and as part of a group.
