This module aims to introduce you to the theory and practice of social science research. During this module you will learn about choosing a topic suitable for dissertation research, formulating research questions, reviewing current knowledge on the topic, applying for ethical approval, designing and organising the methodology and the implementation of your own empirical research, conducting data analysis, and finally, writing up the findings.
