Studying Film

Module code: HA1004

This module introduces you to the basic skills and approaches required to study film. The module begins by introducing key skills and the language used in studying film before introducing a series of methods and approaches that can be used to analyse films and the wider context of the film industry. The module will be taught through a lecture and seminar/workshop in which you will practice key researching and writing skills, discuss approaches and get to grips with methods of studying film.
