All Professional Engineers are involved in managing engineering activities in some way, and this module will give you a good knowledge of the management concepts and techniques that are particularly important in engineering. Key areas are project management, health and safety and managing your own performance, which are all best learned when you can apply them to a real project.

As well as conventional taught sessions you'll use the new techniques you've learned to manage your own individual project, ensuring you develop a good project plan. This will also involve producing appropriate risk assessments, and starting to plan your professional development so that you are ready to make the transition to being a graduate engineer.
