I have been a member of academic staff since Jan 1992 and member of the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences since its inception. Since 2020 I have been Dean of Education in the College of Life Sciences. I am currently Interim Head of School of Biological Sciences.

Redox biology; mitochondrial function; cardiovascular ageing.
Supervision
Happy to co-supervise PhDs in areas of redox and mitochondrial biology.
