Profile

I joined the University of Leicester in 2021 as a Laboratory Teaching Fellow. I am focussed on the design, delivery and development of the chemistry teaching laboratory courses for undergraduate and taught postgraduate students. My research background is in inorganic materials chemistry with a focus on Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs). Prior to joining Leicester I was a Research Associate at the University of Bath focussing on porous materials for the capture and controlled release of biomolecules using both experimental methods and molecular simulations. My PhD involved the development of MOFs bearing acidic functionalities for gas storage, molecular separation, and proton diffusion.
