Cyberpsychology at Work

Module code: MN3126

As new technologies are developed and filter down to our workplaces, how we interact with them psychologically can often play a huge role in our relationship with our jobs, both positive and negative.

This module will equip you with the theoretical skills necessary to harness strong and successful working relationships between man and machine.

You'll learn key psychological theories on our relationship with technology and apply these in managerial and organisational contexts. You'll be able to pinpoint how technologies affect our relationship with the world and influence personal, social and organisational identities. You'll be able to critically look at the impact of technologies on daily working life, and how they've had a positive and negative effect on organisations and businesses big and small.
