Falil Mobolaji Abina

The University has learned with sadness of the death of one of our students, Falil Mobolaji Abina, known to everyone as Bolaji.

Bolaji joined the University of Leicester family in September 2017 and had just completed his studies for an MA in Business Economics.

We as a community are deeply saddened by Bolaji’s passing.

Associate Dean of the School of Business, Linda Ralphs writes:

"It is with great sorrow and shock we learn of Bolaji’s death. He was such a charming young man. Always attending class with a huge smile and always polite. I remember Bolaji with great fondness as he always referred to me as ‘Ma’am’. My sincere sympathies and thoughts are with Bolaji’s family."
