Whether you want to get in shape, keep fit and healthy, train for competitive sport or just wind down at the end of a busy day, our two state-of-the-art sports centres have the facilities you need.
The Danielle Brown Sports Centre is on campus and the Roger Bettles Sports Centre is next to our accommodation at The Village. At both centres you can work up a sweat in the extensive gym, enjoy a swim and or relax in the sauna, steam room and spa pool. There are a range of membership packages to suit your needs and budget, giving you access to all of our sports facilities.
Classes on offer range from yoga to circuit training, from body combat to Zumba. Outside there’s plenty more to keep you active, with courts, artificial pitches and grass playing fields.
The many sports clubs and societies in the Students' Union welcome students of all abilities, from total beginners to casual competitors to serious athletes (who can apply for one of our Sports Scholarships). Trampolining or Tae Kwon-Do? Karate or Kayaking? Whatever your sport we’ve got you covered.
