Professor Richard Ambrosi
Automation. Efficiencies. Technology. The ‘space economy’. Richard leads on these key issues for the space sector as part of his teaching and research at the University. Importantly, his work is looking to shape the conversation on how the UK government can achieve its goal of tripling the size of the UK space sector by 2030. In his portfolio of research, he is also conducting research into neutron imaging instruments based on amorphous silicon/microchannel plate detectors.
Its imperative that we start thinking about how we transform the space sector from space 2.0 to space 4.0 and the role that the private sector has to play in making space exploration more accessible.
