With Parliament back and Theresa May’s government trying to pass controversial legislation, Emmeline Ledgerwood, oral history project volunteer and PhD student at the British Library/University of Leicester, has written a blog on the periods of minority government during the 1970s.

Planetary Scientists Dr Leigh Fletcher and Professors Emma Bunce and Stan Cowley from our Department of Physics and Astronomy recently bid a fond farewell to the Cassini mission at Saturn and discussed the inspirational impact that the mission has had on scientists young and old across the world. Dr Fletcher also appeared at the National Space Centre on Friday 15 September delivering a Q&A session and lecture on Cassini and its legacy.
