Funding support for higher degrees at Leicester

Our University is providing support for people interested in advancing their educational qualifications.

Opportunities for funded support are available through the ESRC Midlands Graduate School Doctoral Training Partnership.

Applications are now open for Midlands Graduate School PhD funding for 2018 entry - with some options available for Master’s students.

To help people take up the opportunities available to them, there will be an Application Writing Workshop on Wednesday 22 November at 3pm in Ken Edwards 322 at the University of Leicester. This workshop will also be available as a live webinar.

Gavin Brown, Associate Professor in Human Geography and Midlands Graduate School Human Geography Pathway Lead at Leicester, said: “The ESRC studentships from the Midlands Graduate School are a great opportunity to recruit the next generation of social scientists to contribute to the world-leading research ambitions of the University of Leicester. Writing workshops like this demonstrate the time and commitment that leading researchers are willing to invest in recruiting and training the research leaders of the future.”
