Introduction to Practice

Module code: RA1003

This will be your first placement experience module. You will spend your time in the professional radiology department and apply the professional learning from previous modules. You will observe radiographic examinations and understand your role as a student radiographer. You will start to work towards the standards required of a HCPC registered radiographer- professional standards which radiographers must uphold to be registered and practice in the UK.

You will also see how quality control checks of the radiographic equipment and processes are performed for the safety of patients, staff and the public.
