How do businesses take resources and turn them into products and services as efficiently as possible? Operations management is a delivery-focused field critical to production, manufacturing or services, and this module will introduce you to its key principles.

At the end of this module, you'll be able to discuss the range of philosophies and techniques that pervade operations management (e.g. BPR, JIT, and TQM). You'll be adept at identifying key issues and challenges, such as managing a sustainable global supply chain, facing operations management. You'll be proficient at critically evaluating the link between operations management and strategy. Plus, you'll feel comfortable applying philosophies and techniques in the analysis and problem-solving of operations management case studies.
