HiVaCroM The High Value Crop Monitoring

The High Value Crop Monitoring (HiVaCroM) project is a proof of concept for a near real time, dynamic integrated crop monitoring service which utilise space-based imagery (Sentinel-2) and local/regional environmental information specific to crop growth to accurately estimate key canopy variables in high value crops (initially for selected UK potato crops). The planned resultant service will provide mass market access for targeted agronomy; mapping and identifying areas of low crop growth, as well as providing producers with a macroscopic monitoring tool of their cropped area.

The HiVaCroM project is supported by the Integrated Applications Promotion (IAP) of the European Space Agency (ESA). This project is part funded by ESA, and part funded by the consortium partners.
