Research Support Services
Our Research Support Services are part of the Research and Enterprise Division at the University of Leicester. They support research activity across all disciplines at the University, including grant applications and awards, University-wide policy and strategy (including preparations for the REF), and provision of research-related management information.
If you are part of our College of Life Sciences, you can find information on the NHS Research Passport; a mechanism through which you can obtain permission to undertake research in an NHS organisation.
Data management support
Research Data Management is part of the research process, our Data Management Support team are here to give you advice and guidance on how to make the research process as efficient as possible, and meet requirements of the university, research funders, and legislation.
Support from the library
Our David Wilson Library is on hand to support you in literature searching, reference management, Open Access publishing, citation analysis, creating digital collections, and maximising and measuring your impact.
Training and development
As you would expect from a leading university, you will find excellent training and development opportunities available. We offer a range of courses from basic IT to formal leadership qualifications to all staff, alongside specific researcher development and teaching support.
