Teaching

5 modules have intended learning outcomes directly relating to this goal, and 780 students have the opportunity to choose these modules.

Research

359 articles relating to this goal were published in Scopus between 2018 and 2022, and 16,789 articles were 'cited by' in Scopus.

What we're doing

Operational

The University has committed to paying the voluntary Living Wage since 2015. 

In 2023, as part of a response to the cost-of-living increases, the University also put in place several supportive measures for staff and students, including free breakfasts, reduced car parking costs, and financial support sessions.

Teaching

The School of Economics deliver a third-year UG Development Economics (EC3061) module where students identify characteristics that cause significant differences in the level of economic development and prosperity and suggest appropriate policies targeted at promoting economic development as part of their assessment.
