6 modules have intended learning outcomes directly relating to this goal, and 1,114 students have the opportunity to choose these modules.

216 articles relating to this goal were published in Scopus between 2018 and 2022, and 5,905 articles were 'cited by' in Scopus.

What we’re doing

Teaching

Students on the Green Chemistry (CH4204) module discuss the alternatives to established energy processes and are prompted to question how to best utilise their scientific knowledge with an understanding of wider political and environmental impacts on the Chemistry sector.

Research

The Green Energy Technologies and Systems (GrEaT) group is a multidisciplinary research group at the School of Engineering and Space Park Leicester, working at the forefront of the Net-Zero sustainability goals, aiming to accelerate the deployment of green energy technologies for the decarbonization of our energy supply in the UK.
