The University is open today, but snow is again forecast for the East Midlands, with a yellow warning for disruption still in place. We expect the University will be open. Main routes will be gritted but some areas of Leicestershire and Rutland are very icy and dangerous, so please do take your time getting in to work, and take notice of advice from Area Traffic Control and Leicestershire Police.
Please also be careful on paths and pavements on the way to work as these are public routes and not gritted by the University.
****REMOVE We realise that those travelling from more rural areas may not be able to travel and many schools and colleges may close for the day.
So if you cannot make it, or have caring responsibilities, we would simply ask that you let your contact at the University know as early as possible, so that arrangements can be made.
We will update this post on the university website and continue to update social media with further information on any disruption.
