How to book
You will need to log in to our MyStudentRecord system to book your visit day. If you have not already signed up for a MyStudentRecord account, you will need to click on the ‘New User’ button and follow the on-screen instructions to create your password.
If you already have a MyStudentRecord account, you will need to log in using your username and password. Your username is your University of Leicester ID number which you will find on your visit day invite email, on your offer letter or on your application acknowledgement email.
Once you have logged into MyStudentRecord you will need to click on the My Applications tab to book your visit day.
Amending your booking
If you already have a booking and you need to change the information you submitted, change the date or you wish to cancel your booking please log back in to MyStudentRecord and click on the My Applications tab.

From 9.15am Registration
Please make your way to the ‘Union Square’ in the Students’ Union (Percy Gee Building). You will then be taken to your registration point.
10.00am ‘Welcome to the University of Leicester’ Talk
A short presentation introducing the University of Leicester and our accommodation.
A Taste of Life at Oadby Student Village
Hop on a bus up to our Halls of Residence at Oadby Student Village. There will be buses running every ten minutes from 10.15am. The last bus will leave campus at 11.30am and the final bus back to campus will leave Oadby at 12.15pm. You will be able to see the social spaces on offer, an example of a typical student’s room and the facilities at Oadby.
A Campus Tour
Join our Student Ambassadors on a walking tour of the main campus. These run between 10.15am and 12.15pm and take 30-45 minutes.
Lunch will be provided by the department.
1.30pm Department Session
This session will include an introduction to the Department of Criminology and overview of our course. It will also contain a taster lecture, a criminology quiz and the opportunity to ask any questions about the course.
4.00pm Visit Day ends
If you arrive after the Registration period, please make your way in the first instance to the ‘Union Square’ in the Students’ Union (Percy Gee Building) to register, collect your programme and receive further directions.
