Children's Mental Health Week

It’s never been more important to raise awareness of mental health especially in young people, which is why we are getting involved in Children’s Mental Health Week (7 – 13 February 2022) again this year.

After the success of last year, we’re once again hosting the ‘what makes you happy’ competition and we’ll be donating £1 for every entry to Place2Be*. Place2Be is a children’s mental health charity working with students, families and staff in UK schools.

To enter, students will need to either photograph or illustrate what makes them happy. All students under the age of 16 will need consent from an adult to enter. Entries should be emailed to schools@le.ac.uk before midnight on the 13 February 2022.

The winning entries will be announced on the 17 February. Their artwork will posted to the University of Leicester online exhibition and win an Etsy voucher.
