About Graduate Research Assistantships

GRAs allow research students to fund their PhD through part-time research support work with the University. Successful candidates will be required to undertake activities supporting and assisting the work of the Leicester Experimental Economics (LExEcon) Laboratory within the School, under the guide and supervision of the laboratory director. In so doing they will aid in developing and enhancing both the internal and external reputation of our experimental lab and research. Research experience in experimental economics or behavioural science is desirable.

Graduate Research Assistants are responsible to the Head of Department, and are expected to undertake research support duties as required within the Department - not normally exceeding the equivalent of six/seven contact hours per week during term time - while undertaking research leading to a successful PhD. GRA Job Summary (docx. 439KB)
