MPhil project

This Industrial MPhil is funded by the Leicester Innovation Hub (through European Development Fund monies) and the sponsoring organisation, Sporting Edge Ltd.

Sporting Edge Ltd is a high-performance consultancy with a pioneering approach based on digital learning. The company’s digital platform gives thousands of executives, coaches and entrepreneurs access to hundreds of inspirational leadership strategies from sporting champions, neuroscientists, strategists and leaders from the military, performing arts and business. Sporting Edge is currently investigating ways to transform their business model to accelerate growth and one way they hope to do this is through a new membership model.

Sporting Edge aim to transform their business model from the provision of face-to-face training to a subscription platform delivering bespoke video education courses.

To facilitate this transition Sporting Edge require analytics expertise to draw together and organise data from disparate sources into a format which can be interpreted and manipulated by non-technical staff. This will be done through the creation of a new piece of marketing insight software which will analyse customer interaction data and present it in a user-friendly dashboard.
