Postgraduate Open Events
Talk one on one with our academics. Explore our areas of research expertise. Find the answers to your funding and application questions.
Our next Postgraduate Open Day takes place on Saturday 17 November between 10.00am and 3.00pm.
Following a welcome from the Deputy Vice -Chancellor, you’ll have the chance to hear from current students and attend a Q&A with a select alumni panel. There will be a funding presentation with information on the new postgraduate loans before the course information fair opens with the chance to meet academics and course representatives. You’ll also be invited to join us for a free lunch.
We will hold more postgraduate information events throughout the academic year.
In the meantime, you can get to know our campus through 360° photos on our campus map and see the range of postgraduate subjects available on campus or by distance learning.
Travelling to the University
The University's central location within the city of Leicester means that parking around the campus is very limited and wherever possible, we would encourage you to use public transport. Leicester is well served by both trains and buses. The campus is within walking distance of the railway station.
If you are coming by car please note that there is no visitor parking on the main University campus on University Road before 5.00pm. There are several pay-and-display car parks near to campus, of which the nearest is Freeman's Common on Welford Road (postcode LE2 6BF).
