Please arrive and register in the 'Union Square' in the Students’ Union Percy Gee Building. If you arrive after the Registration period, please make your way in the first instance to the 'Union Square' in the Students’ Union Percy Gee Building.
10.00am ‘Welcome to the University of Leicester’ Talk
This will include a short DVD and presentation introducing the University of Leicester in the Peter Williams Lecture Theatre, Fielding Johnson South Wing.
10.15am Option: Campus Tour or City Living accommodation tour
You will be given the choice of either a tour of the main campus or a walking tour to see the City Living student accommodation at Nixon Court and Freemen’s Common. Both tours are delivered by our Student Ambassadors and depart from the 'Union Square' in the Students' Union Percy Gee Building.
11.00am Oadby Student Village Accommodation Tour
You will be taken by coach to Oadby Student Village to see the social facilities and visit a typical student’s room. During the tour of the site, you will also have the option to drop in on a Student Life talk delivered by one of our current Student Ambassadors. The tour lasts approx. 1 ½ hours and involves some walking around the site.
12.30pm-2.00pm Optional: Information Fair
You will have the chance to speak with staff from other departments as well as from a number of professional services in Queen’s Hall, Students’ Union Percy Gee Building. This is especially useful if you have applied to study a minor or would like further information about student support.
Back on campus, lunch will be able in the department in School of Archaeology and Ancient History, Seminar room 1.
