Studying at University is very different from school. To help with this transition, we've put together a resource that will give you tips and advice on adapting to university study.
Student Learning Development provides a range of services to develop your study and research skills. There is a wide range of free study guides on writing, study, presentation and numeracy skills. You can also learn how to improve your study skills through our AccessAbility Centre.
Languages at Leicester is a programme of accessible language courses run by the University of Leicester in partnership with De Montfort University. It offers the opportunity to learn another language, even if you have never done so before.
The University of Leicester has a range of bands and choirs and a unique partnership with the Philharmonic Orchestra.
There are plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and CV through volunteering whilst you're in Leicester. The Student's Union offers opportunities to volunteer, along with our Career Development Service.
