The University of Leicester has a library at the heart of the campus. As well as being open 24 hours a day for most of the academic year, it also provides copyright advice, copying, printing and scanning services as well as study spaces, IT facilities and group study rooms. The building is also home to the AccessAbility Centre and the Library Café. The Library staff run regular training sessions on referencing, research skills and finding publications and information for your studies.
The University of Leicester has two sports centres, one on the main campus and the other at the Oadby Student Village. As a student you will be eligible to join the sports centre which will give you access to both facilities. Each centre has a swimming pool and gym equipment as well as running regular classes.
The University of Leicester has a nursery based in the Danielle Brown Sports Centre on the main campus. The Nursery caters for children aged from six weeks to five years and is open to all University of Leicester staff and students.
The Nursery is registered with, and inspected by, OFSTED and deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum framework. There are separate and shared facilities for babies (under two years) and for children over two years.
