Registering with the University

Once you have accepted your offer we will send your registration instructions by email.

If you are starting with us in September your registration instructions will arrive from August onwards. We will also send you instructions about how to register online through the MyStudentRecord portal.

You must have paid or made arrangements to pay your tuition fees before you can register online. Online registration can be completed from anywhere in the world and will open in August each year. Check the University's Registration page for confirmation of online registration opening dates and how to access online registration once it is open.

As part of the registration process, you are agreeing to comply with the University’s statutes, charter and regulations.

If you are an international student (non-EU) and you are unable to register before you arrive, you will be able to do so at the visa checkpoint.

Changing your email address

If you change your primary email address, please let us know by emailing ugadmissions@le.ac.uk. Please make sure you include your name and University of Leicester number.

 

  • This is the last step if you are a UK or EU student.
  • If you're an international (non-EU) student you will need to attend a visa checkpoint after you arrive.
