Registering with the University

Once you have accepted your offer we will send you your registration instructions by email and post. We will send this information to your permanent home address so if this changes it is important that you let us know as soon as possible. You can change your address by emailing pgadmissions@le.ac.uk (Please make sure you include your name and University of Leicester number in the email.)

If you are starting with us at the end of September, your registration instructions will arrive from August onwards. We will also send you instructions about how to register online through MyStudentRecord.

You must have paid, or made arrangements to pay, your tuition fees before you can register online. Online registration can be completed from anywhere in the world and will open in August each year. Check our Registration page for confirmation of online registration opening dates and how to access online registration once it is open.

If you're an international (non-EU) student and you are unable to register before you arrive, you will be able to do so at the visa checkpoint

As part of the registration process, you are agreeing to comply with the University’s statutes, charter and regulations.

  • This is the last step if you are a UK or EU student.
  • If you're an international (non-EU) student you will need to attend a visa checkpoint after you arrive.
