Pop heart is a creative way to present our cardiac MRI images using ‘T1 mapping’ sequence. T1 mapping helps to assess the presence of subtle scarring (diffuse fibrosis) in the heart muscle. The images represent the heart in ‘short axis cut’, showing the left and right ventricles. The upper panel shows native images before administration of contrast, while the lower panel images are taken 15 minutes after contrast administration.
Images were generated by using a post-processing CMR analysis software (Cvi42 Circle Cardiovascular Imaging).
