COA approval application form

Before we can certify any loans you must complete and return a Cost of Attendance approval application form. This helps us to calculate your cost of attendance, determine the loan amounts you are eligible for, and know the amount of loans you wish to take.

If your year of study starts before 1 August 2023 please contact USloans@le.ac.uk so we can provide you with the correct 2022-23 COA to complete.

Complete the form

Complete or answer all the questions that have blue text. You will not be able to change any other cells on the spreadsheet. You will need to provide:

• Your personal details.
• Answer questions about your programme of study - this helps the form to calculate the loan amounts and types you are entitled to receive.
• Your estimated financial contribution (EFC) from your Student Aid Report (SAR).
• Details of any other financial aid that you will be receiving.
• The loan amounts you wish to borrow.

Return the form

Use the checklist in the form to check you have completed everything including the documentation listed. Then return the form to USloans@le.ac.uk.

We will then notify you of the loan amount we have certified.
