Philosophy of Social Sciences

Module code: SY7006

In this module you will study the core philosophical debates that underpin social research. Understanding these debates will equip you with the knowledge and skills to think about your own research design, implementation and execution. The capacity to ‘see’ underpinning philosophical positions at play in the research of others is core to the evaluation and assessment of all sociological work. We hope you enjoy this module and look forward to working with you on it.
