"With great power comes great responsibility," and there's no power quite like political power.

It is a common assumption that political actors have a responsibility to act ethically, but this is often corrupted by the realities of power. Thus, to fully understand politics, you will need to assess its relationship with power and ethics. This module will introduce you to the key concepts behind political analysis, approaches to politics, democracy and theories of the state. By the end of this module, you'll be able to apply these concepts to a variety of topics within politics, power and ethics.
