Module Outline

This module will introduce and focus on the interpretation and communication of art. Making the rich and diverse resources of the museum accessible to individuals and communities in a changing society involves a wide range of media. Working from theories of communication and learning, this module looks at a variety of media tools available to art museums and galleries and how these can be deployed in ways which meet the needs of diverse audiences and communities.
