Digital media has a huge impact on our lives on an individual and global level and you’ll be investigating the theory behind this, as well as the societal impact. You’ll be researching the key theories and concepts behind the study of digital media, while critiquing the recent empirical research on the social consequences of new communications technologies in the context of everyday life. By analysing the relationship between digital media developments and their consumption, you’ll gain an in depth understanding of the effects it has on our lives.
