By taking this module, you’ll be able to explain the importance, relevance and contribution of economics to the framing, modelling and analysing of firm performance.

You’ll be looking at the wider macro-economic environment and explain how environmental forces impact upon the performance of firms and the strategies they create. Identifying and evaluating the factors which affect the nature of competition and competition policy will develop your understanding of this subject, and you’ll discover how they affect the performance of business enterprises.
