Intended Learning Outcomes

By the end of the module, students will have gained an understanding of how the national past was perceived and understood
in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. They will have grasped the institutionalisation of these concerns in the nineteenth
century, as well as the application and radical widening of these concerns in the 20th through 21st.
