Geographical Information Science

This module is concerned with developing the theory of basic GIS operators and analytical approaches applied to a variety of geographical data and problems. In this module you will have the opportunity to outline, explain and critically evaluate a variety of spatial data analysis techniques with reference to a number of geographical examples. In particular, you will obtain experience in how to negotiate the steps involved in a GIS analysis of real data.
