Geographical Information Science

Module code: GY2421

This module is concerned with the theory of basic GIS operators and analytical approaches in a variety of geographical problems. You will focus on the variety of ways in which digital spatially-referenced data (qualitative or quantitative) may be collected and represented, as well as various spatial data analysis techniques, with particular reference to a number of geographical examples.
