Social and Cultural Geography

This module looks at the coming together of social and cultural geography in ‘the cultural turn’ and the emergence theoretically, conceptually and methodologically of what became known as ‘new cultural geography’. It looks at how socio-cultural geographers study culture, space, place and society in relation to social justice, power, nature, the city, the body, and so on.
