Developing Dissertation Skils

This module aims to help students prepare and develop skills relevant to their MA dissertation. This module aims to develop students' research, writing, and oral skills in relation to designing and developing independent research projects The 10 hours of seminars, practical classes and workshops aim at assisting students in developing a dissertation topic, planning their data collection, applying for ethical approval, and presenting early results of their independent projects in front of peers and staff.

Teaching methods may include seminars and practical classes and workshops. Assessment is by two summative assignments (a dissertation proposal of 1000-words; 30%; and, a dissertation presentation equivalent to 2000 words; 70%).
