Computer Science Project

Module code: CO3015
Module co-ordinators: Irek Ulidowski and Emmanuel Tadjouddine

Your Computer Science Project is a chance to combine the knowledge and skills you have gained throughout your degree.

Project work consists of independent private study, guided by regular short meetings with a member of staff who will advise you on how to proceed with the year's work. You may choose a project title and subject area from a large list of project descriptions, or suggest a project of your own for possible approval.

The project has a number of goals which you must achieve. The key ones are the writing of a dissertation summarising the year's work, and the development of a practical computer system.

  • 5 hours of lectures
  • 2 hours of practicals/workshops
  • 10 hours of project supervision
  • 283 hours of guided independent study
